This role involves providing high-quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with our organization's values. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall wellbeing of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming while maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
* Mobility Support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
* Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
* Meal Assistance: Support residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
* Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
* Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
* Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
* Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
* Friendly and effective communication abilities.
