Wheelers Concreting Pty Ltd is a construction business operating across QLD. Wheelers Concreting Pty Ltd is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a full‐time position with 38‐hour basic workweeks.
The Role
We are currently recruiting skilled formwork carpenters for a permanent, full‐time position.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ability to read and understand drawings.
* Selecting and ordering materials required and preparing layouts.
* Making formwork from timber, plywood or plastic and steel as per shop drawings.
* Measuring and cutting wood or metal.
* Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
* Safely operating hand and power tools.
* Prepared to assist other trades.
Qualifications and Experience
* AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field.
* Carpentry/concrete: 2 years required.
* Machinery: 2 years preferred.
* Construction White Card.
* Safety procedures knowledge.
* Positive, can‐do attitude and enjoy working in an inclusive team.
* Valid Driving License and transport desirable.
