About Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR)

The Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program will provide a highly secure, holistic and integrated view of the care a patient receives across the New South Wales (NSW) public health system. It will transform the digital systems that NSW's public healthcare workers use every day to deliver care.

The SDPR is a next generation integrated electronic medical record (eMR), laboratory information management system (LIMS) and patient administration system (PAS). The program will replace the current nine eMRs, 10 PAS and five pathology LIMS in use across NSW Health.

SDPR will be delivered across NSW Health through a partnership between Local Health Districts (LHDs), Specialty Health Networks (SHNs), eHealth NSW, NSW Health Pathology and other agencies.

Come work with us

We currently have exciting new opportunities within the Single Digital Patient Record, Program Delivery for Principal Trainers.

Reporting into Change and Adoption Capability Manager, you will contribute to the team responsible for managing the training cycle. This involves scoping, designing, developing, deploying and evaluating the training and educational activities to support the implementation and adoption of the SDPR Program across NSW Health. Collaborating closely with local training teams, your role includes content development and fostering collaborative relationships with various stakeholders. You will occasionally be required to attend meetings within other NSW Health locations and facilities.

Sitting amongst peers in the Change and Adoption team of Capability Practice, you will also work on some of NSW Health's most transformative digital projects, to support the ongoing development of best practices, and contribute to establishing a centre of excellence in this field.

Health Manager Level 3, $122,850 – $139,559 salary per annum plus 11% superannuation

What you will do

* Develop and implement a flexible training approach to end users with differing levels of digital literacy across metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote locations.
* Support end to end training and educational activities to a variety of NSW Health staff and managers for the program both in implementation and business‐as‐usual stages.
* Integrate the vendor training approach, curriculum, instructional design pipelines, eLearning modules, video and other online mediums into the development and deployment of training in alignment with policies and guidelines.
* Monitor, evaluate and review training programs, learning materials and competency assessments to ensure compliance with business requirements, best practice and industry standards.
* Support team members and lead training initiatives across Health Districts to meet program‐wide requirements.

About you

* Demonstrated experience in adult learning and development in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation.
* Knowledge and practical experience in working within technical training, preferably within a large-scale ICT project environment however not essential.
* Proven ability to assume a lead role in scoping, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating software training from inception through to implementation.
* Effective communication skills and an ability to present technical concepts in simple terms to a range of audiences.

If this sounds like you and you're looking for a rewarding new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
