Coffey Testing is currently seeking motivated
Unapprenticed Juniors
to join our
Rockhampton Laboratory
. The role provides basic support to Technicians to ensure the quality and safety of construction materials used in some of Australia's largest rail, mining and infrastructure projects.

Key Qualifications
Basic literacy and numerical skills
Pay attention to detail and consistently maintain quality standards
Able to listen and follow instructions
Ensure efficient, productive, accurate and timely completion of work tasks
Take responsibilities for safe work procedures and instructions
Main responsibilities / duties of the position
Attend all toolbox talks to ensure clarity around daily tasks
Work under the supervision and follow direction from technicians
Assist technicians with preparation of samples
Set up workbench for technicians
Undertake a variety of preparation tasks in the laboratory
Keep the lab tidy and store tools and equipment properly
Clean laboratory equipment
Understand and act on all safety procedures and policies
Carry out daily housekeeping duties
Ensure your timesheet is completed correctly
Attend all shifts on time, ready and able to work
Understand how to report accidents, near misses or hazards and follow the correct process if required
Report to your manager or HR any behaviour which compromises the integrity of Coffey Testing
