Job Title: High Voltage Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high voltage electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of high voltage systems, safety protocols, and maintenance practices. You will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs on standard equipment, constructing and installing system components, equipment, and fixtures, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in installations, making modifications to devices using standard test equipment, adhering to safety procedures when working with electricity, measuring and controlling electrical parameters, and preparing technical documentation.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong background in electrical engineering and a thorough understanding of electrical standards. You should also be proficient in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high voltage electrical systems. In addition, you must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Must be a US or Australian citizen
* Must have a US TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance
* Must have a minimum of five years of experience working with medium and high voltages
* Must possess a Union/Utility MV and HV certifications, or the Australian equivalent
* Must be knowledgeable of operating/maintaining switch gears, transformers, isolation breakers

This is a contingent position based upon contract award. The role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
