Summary of the Position
We're looking for a warm, engaging and people-focused leader to take on the role of Facility Manager at a residential aged care home in the beautiful Gippsland region. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a caring, engaged team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
* Build a positive and welcoming culture where staff feel valued, motivated and supported.
* Work closely with clinical and care teams to maintain high standards and meet all care requirements.
* Oversee day-to-day operations including rostering, admissions, customer service and general workflow.
* Maintain strong relationships with residents and families, ensuring their experiences are positive and well-supported.
* Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and helping the team grow and develop.
* Ensure documentation, processes and practices align with aged care standards and accreditation requirements.
* Support financial and occupancy goals through good planning and collaborative decision-making.
Key Requirements
What we're looking for:
* Bachelor of Nursing with AHPRA Registration (we may consider non-clinical candidates).
* Proven experience leading a residential aged care home or similar clinical/operational environment.
* Strong understanding of aged care standards, accreditation processes, and quality improvement.
* Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams and engage staff from diverse backgrounds.
* Confidence in managing budgets, rosters, financial indicators and operational reporting.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
* Post-graduate qualifications in health management, leadership or aged care (desirable).
