We are seeking a skilled Forensic Accountant to join our team in Brisbane. As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop your career on your own terms as part of a high-performing and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on a broad range of forensic engagements, including business valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, insurance events and accounting reviews and investigations
* Build and maintain beneficial stakeholder relationships, including client liaison and the provision of trusted expert advice
* Detailed review and analysis of the financial performance of businesses
* Research and analysis of a variety of business, industry and economic data and information
* Participate in business development and practice management activities, as well as provide coaching, mentoring and training opportunities to other team members
Requirements:
* Significant forensic accounting experience, ideally gained within a public practice environment
* Experience with preparing valuation reports and/or commercial loss and damage reports for disputes
* Strong analytical skills and mindset, complemented by lateral and critical thinking capability
* Conscientious with a strong degree of accuracy and keen eye for detail
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
