The difference you'll make

We are seeking a strategic PR & Communications Manager to elevate Bridgit's brand presence and solidify Bridgit as a voice of authority within the category, while also establishing our leadership team as trusted, leading voices across the Australian fintech, broker, consumer and property sectors.

You will own our media relations and internal communications strategy, shaping clear and compelling narratives that consistently position Bridgit as a category leader — a brand that resonates with homeowners, brokers and industry partners alike. You will also support internal communications, ensuring clarity of direction and alignment across the business.

What you'll do

* Develop and execute communications plans aligned with Bridgit's business and brand strategy, establishing Bridgit as a clear voice of authority in the category.
* Proactively pitch stories to top-tier business, finance and property media, securing consistent, high-quality coverage.
* Build strong relationships with key media contacts and represent Bridgit professionally
* Translate data, product innovation and market trends into compelling narratives that resonate with both B2B partners and consumers.
* Elevate the profiles of our founders and leadership team through speaking opportunities, podcast appearances and thought leadership, positioning them as brand custodians.
* Create and manage press releases, whitepapers and thought-leadership content aligned with SEO, brand and growth objectives.
* Lead key internal communications, ensuring the business is kept up to date on major milestones and initiatives, and supporting leadership alignment.
* Partner closely with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to support launches, policy updates, major announcements and funding milestones.

What you'll bring

* 5+ years' experience in PR and communications, with the ability to operate hands-on as well as at a strategic level.
* A relationship-first approach to media, don't just send pitches, you know which journalists want data-led insights versus human-interest stories.
* Comfort operating in a scale-up environment, moving seamlessly from senior-level strategy discussions to drafting a time-sensitive media response at speed.
* Deep knowledge of the Australian media landscape and an appreciation of the sensitivities and pressures surrounding the local housing market.
* An understanding of lending or the Australian property market is helpful., but not critical
