Play a key role in supporting the Destination, Communication and Customer Experience team, providing high‐level administrative and executive assistance to the Manager and teams within the unit. You'll help drive efficiency by managing core systems and processes that support the unit's success. As a friendly and helpful member of the team, you will provide administrative support for the functions of communications, engagement and media; customer experience; economy, business and destination; and the Northern Rivers Rail Trail.
About the role:
* Be a key support to the Manager and team, keeping the Destination Communication and Customer Experience unit running smoothly and efficiently.
* Drive meeting coordination and secretariat support, including agendas, minutes, and committee logistics.
* Take ownership of purchase orders, invoicing, records, and corporate templates to support seamless operations.
* Manage the communications storeroom, stock, equipment bookings, and sourcing of catering, merchandise, and print.
* Deliver standout customer service by handling enquiries, coordinating event logistics, and managing busy phone and inbox communication.

We are seeking:
* Certificate level qualification in related field or relevant demonstrated experience relating to the role.
* Highly organised with proven administrative expertise, including reception duties, phone handling, and accurate file and records management.
* Tech‐savvy with advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, creating and maintaining professional templates and formatted documents.
* Exceptionally well‐organised, able to juggle multiple tasks, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
* Reliable and flexible, holding a current driver's licence and able to support operational needs as required.
