Islamic College of Brisbane (ICB) is seeking a responsible, safety-focused and reliable Mini Van Driver to support the safe and compliant delivery of student transport services.
This role is ideal for someone seeking a part-time position who is available during school transport hours. The position may suit someone who enjoys working with students and contributing to the school community.
The role focuses on safely transporting students to and from the College and approved activities while maintaining a high standard of safety, care, and professionalism.
This is a Permanent Part-Time (during school term) position working Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 9:00am and 2:30pm – 4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely transport students to and from the College and approved activities
* Ensure compliance with transport legislation and College policies
* Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain accurate records
* Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate servicing requirements
* Maintain student safety, behaviour standards, and attendance records
* Support transport logistics for excursions and College events
* Assist with general facilities support duties as required
Selection Criteria
* Current QLD C Class Open Driver's Licence
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Demonstrated professional driving experience
* Knowledge of transport legislation and WHS requirements
* Strong administrative and record-keeping skills
* Ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgement
