Our client is a leading multi residential developer/builder with an outstanding reputation for build quality and site safety. With a solid pipeline of work for the next 5+ years, they require an experienced Structural Foreman to supervise and coordinate all structural works on multi-residential projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, engineering requirements and safety regulations. The position will oversee the delivery of structural elements from groundworks to framing, managing subcontractors and ensuring high-quality, timely and safe execution of all works.
Reporting to the Project Manager and Site Manager, key responsibilities include:
* Plan, coordinate and supervise all structural construction activities, including earthworks, formwork, steel fixing, concrete works and framing.
* Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with structural drawings, engineering specifications and Australian Standards.
* Monitor and enforce safety, quality and environmental standards on site (liaising with an on site HSE Advisor/Manager).
* Manage subcontractors and trades to achieve project milestones and productivity targets.
* Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and rectify any non-conformances.
* Liase with Engineers, Site Manager and Project Manager to resolve technical and structural issues.
* Coordinate material deliveries and storage to ensure efficiency and damage prevention.
* Review and verify compliance of temporary works and lifting plans.
* Maintain accurate daily site records and reporting.
Your proven experience in a similar role within multi residential or commercial construction is required, along with a strong technical knowledge of structural construction, engineering principles and materials. You should be able to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are a must in managing your team and subcontractors. Your first project is entirely above ground, including parking.
