Cert III CIVIL CONSTRUCTION – ROAD AND MAINTENANCE TRAINEESHIP
Protech are looking for applicants who are interested in joining the Civil construction industry through a traineeship path.
ABOUT THE ROLE You will be hosted by a Government Organisation, who will provide you with mentorship and the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of Civil Construction, while completing your studies.
* Commencing Early 2026
* Rockhampton Location with potential to work away on a 10/4 roster
* Day shift mainly with some nights
* You will gain a Certificate III in Construction – Road Construction and Maintenance
(3 year traineeship)
* Permanent Fixed term with a minimum of 38 hours a week, and sick and annual leave entitlements
* Excellent (above award) pay rates and allowances apply
* To be eligible you need to be < 25 years of age
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* General labouring tasks
* Working in various Road Construction pathways, structures/bridges
* Set up & dismantle onsite equipment
* Maintain a safe & clean work environment
* Supporting the road and maintenance crews
* Adhering to the theory component of the traineeship to ensure you maintain on track with your traineeship
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Driving Licence (manual)
* A strong desire for a Civil Construction Career
* Construction White Card
* Ability to perform manual work
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug Screen
* Provide 2 recent, contactable work references
