Mackay Turf Club is seeking a skilled and experienced Track Curator to join their team.
This is a full-time on-site role responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and preparation of the turf track for various events and races held at the club.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the turf track is properly maintained and prepared for events and races.
* Operate track maintenance equipment to perform daily tasks and repairs.
* Collaborate with the management team to achieve goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in track maintenance or related field.
* Knowledge of turf care and maintenance techniques.
* Ability to operate heavy machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
