At MUVE Logistics, we're on a mission to reshape the logistics game in Australia. As we continue to scale new heights in the transport, storage, and warehousing space. We've been engaged by one of our key national customers to manage their entire warehouse operations, for one of their largest projects in their history, located in Derrimut.
This is an 18-month, high-impact chance to lead daily operations, guide a dedicated team, and ensure everything runs like clockwork on the ground. If you're ready to get hands-on, lead with purpose, and help deliver a critical initiative from start to finish — this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee daily warehouse operations at the project site, ensuring efficiency and performance
- Lead a small team, driving collaboration, accountability, and results
- Responsible for recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Take a hands-on role in resolving issues, supporting team workflows, and keeping operations moving
- Operate forklifts and assist with physical tasks as needed to keep things running smoothly
- Manage stock movements, dispatch, and inventory accuracy
- Ensure compliance with WHS protocols and promote a safety-first culture
- Leverage systems and data to optimise processes and monitor performance
- Collaborate with MUVE leadership and the customer to deliver operational excellence across the board
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within warehousing, logistics, or operations
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or operations environments
- A hands-on, proactive approach — you lead by example and aren't afraid to get involved on the floor
- Experience training and mentoring team members to build capability and drive stronger performance
- A track record of developing and maintaining SOPs and process documentation to improve operational consistency and efficiency
- Current forklift licence with demonstrated experience operating in a busy warehouse environment
- Strong systems knowledge — confident using WMS platforms or similar tools to manage workflow and stock
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) platforms for stock management and workflow optimisation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills
- A deep understanding of WHS requirements and a strong safety-first mindset
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt quickly, and deliver results in a fast-moving project environment
