Job Description
* Monitor and report capital expenditure (CapEx) against budgets and forecasts
* Ensure accurate capitalisation of project costs in line with accounting standards
* Maintain project cost structures, WBS, and financial tracking systems
* Prepare monthly journals, accruals, reconciliations, and project reporting packs
* Deliver variance analysis and insights on project performance and risks
* Support forecasting, budgeting, and long‐term capital planning
* Partner closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations teams
* Review contractor claims, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy
* Support project audits, governance, and compliance requirements
* Manage WIP, capital commitments, and fixed asset processes
The Successful Applicant
* CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) with a degree in Accounting/Commerce
* Background in Big 4 or mid‐tier (first movers strongly encouraged)
* Exposure to project accounting, audit, or advisory advantageous
* Strong understanding of capitalisation, fixed assets, and project lifecycle accounting
* Advanced Excel and analytical capability
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Proactive, detail‐oriented, and commercially curious mindset
