About the company: A specialist boutique Engineering Consultancy in Regional NSW. It prides itself on providing and delivering innovative Structural Engineering designs for a range of Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects. You will report to the Director, and lead a small team of Engineers and a Draftsperson. The client has a site office in Tamworth which can be used as a central base and where more Junior Engineers are based. This position can be based from home either in Regional NSW (north of Sydney), Newcastle, Tamworth or Sydney (if prepared to travel regionally for site visits). About the role: Due to sustained growth we are seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. Projects are all over Regional NSW, primarily North Eastern NSW. You can work from home when designing, the client has an office in Tamworth which can be utilised and where the Junior Engineers are based. We are looking for someone who is a good communicator, presentable and non-confrontational. You will work on projects from concept to completion. As a Senior Structural Engineer you will take ownership of projects, run jobs from start to finish and work with and mentor a team of Junior Structural Engineers and a Draftsperson. You will be provided a vehicle and fuel for travel to regional areas, where several of the sites are based. About the candidate: Ideally you will have: Around 6 years of Structural Design Engineering experience, ideally with a significant amount of this locally A passion for learning, someone looking for solutions to problems, a proactive professional We are looking for someone with client facing skills with experience gained working with a range of builders and architects.
