Design & Build are on the lookout for an intermediate level mechanical design engineer. The project you will be working on is a new build education/ healthcare project. In this role you will be responsible for delivering the technical design of this project, working under an experienced senior engineer who you can learn and develop under. You will be joining reputable HVAC contractor who will be able to provide long term work opportunities with their pipeline of new projects.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 3+ years Australian experience in HVAC design, with experience in large scale commercial/ healthcare D&C projects.
* Experience with a vast variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water infrastructure design.
* Strong understanding of mechanical services design, load calculations, and energy-efficient design practices.
* Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and CAMEL. Revit not a requirement but is beneficial to have.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
* Knowledge of local and national building codes and standards related to HVAC.
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
