The Role
We are currently seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team in Moranbah, QLD. This role is responsible for electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across our fleet of heavy mobile plant, road transport, and light vehicles.
This is a hands-on role based at our Coolibah Quarry, working a 14/7 roster with 12-hour shifts. Camp accommodation and meals are provided.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults on heavy mobile equipment, road transport vehicles, and light vehicles
* Maintain and install wiring, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, starter motors, and safety systems
* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
* Install and troubleshoot auto-electrical components such as two-way radios, lights, GPS, reverse cameras, etc.
* Ensure all work complies with site safety and compliance procedures
* Assist with shutdown maintenance and breakdown callouts as required
* Keep accurate maintenance records and service logs

Skills & Experience
* Trade-qualified Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent)
* Experience in heavy equipment or quarry/mining environments preferred
* Sound diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* High commitment to safety and teamwork
* Current HR licence and forklift ticket desirable
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
