About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, statutory compliance, and month-end and year-end close activities. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance – Asia Pacific, you will be a trusted finance partner supporting the business with accurate financial insights, strong controls, and continuous process improvement.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment with exposure to regional stakeholders and complex financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
* Ownership of month-end and year-end financial close, including preparation and review of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts in line with company policy and Australian Accounting Standards
* Preparation of the statutory financial reporting package and coordination of external audits
* Management of general ledger postings and reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, work-in-progress, fixed assets, depreciation, and tax balances
* Preparation and review of bank and credit card reconciliations
* Ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance, including BAS, PAYG, FBT, CIT, WHT, ASIC and ATO reporting, and intercompany/transfer pricing documentation
* Management and reporting of cash flow, including weekly cash flow forecasting and coordination of intercompany payments with Corporate Treasury
* Review and validation of vendor payment files and preparation of overseas payments via banking portals
* Oversight of intercompany receivables and payables
* Supporting accounts payable and responding to vendor and internal finance queries
* Assisting with annual budgeting and reporting in collaboration with Regional Finance
* Driving continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and controls
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, business processes, and HSE requirements
* Collaboration with finance teams across the region and broader ROSEN Group
* Ad-hoc finance support as required by the Head of Finance
What you will bring
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* CA or CPA qualification
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within a complex or multinational environment
* Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting standards
* Advanced Excel capability (including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF functions and Pivot Tables)
* Proven experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
* High attention to detail with excellent data accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently
* Capacity to build effective relationships across culturally diverse teams
