Job Description:
Congress is the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory and are one of the most experienced Aboriginal primary health care services in the country. Our team provides a comprehensive, holistic and culturally responsive primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including eight remote communities.
Our goal is to improve health outcomes for all Aboriginal people by providing high-quality healthcare services that are tailored to their needs. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Responsibilities:
* Embed standardised processes for ARF/RHD management including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care and care coordination of people living with RhD.
* Support Congress to increase our workforce capacity to implement ARF and RHD strategies that are culturally responsive, evidence-based and sustainable.
Requirements:
This role requires strong clinical skills and experience working with Aboriginal communities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of ARF/RHD management principles and practices, as well as experience in staff training and development. A degree in nursing or a related field is essential, and relevant certifications and qualifications are highly regarded.
