The Opportunity
We're seeking an Accountant who thrives in a dynamic retail workplace. You'll work directly with senior management while gaining exposure to every facet of retail financial management - from multi-location P&L; analysis to e-commerce reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis (50%)
- Monthly management accounts with variance analysis across 4 locations
- Lead 5-day month-end close process
- P&L; performance analysis and e-commerce reconciliation
- Support budgeting and 13-week cash flow forecasting
- Operations & Compliance (35%)
- Process weekly payroll for 100+ employees (Micropay/SAP B1)
- Manage credit claims/AP process, BAS, FBT returns, and ATO compliance
- Balance sheet reconciliations and Fixed Asset register maintenance
- Timesheet processing and payroll analysis
- Audit & Stakeholder Support (15%)
- Coordinate external audits and prepare documentation
- Financial reporting to non-finance stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- CA or CPA qualification (essential)
- 3+ years corporate accounting experience (retail/FMCG preferred)
- SAP Business One experience (essential)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- Experience with Australian tax compliance (GST, FBT, BAS)
- Bonus Points: MicrOpay experience, TA100 knowledge, e-commerce background, immediate start.
