Remote Audiologist Opportunity
The Northern Territory Remote Locum Program is a workforce development initiative that aims to strengthen healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.
We are seeking experienced audiologists to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
* This opportunity provides fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
* Cultural orientation and 24/7 support are provided to help you transition into remote healthcare.
* Free CPD-accredited eLearning is available through the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.
* Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as an audiologist within the past 12 months.
* Evidence of current Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist Certificate.
* Current membership with Audiology Australia.
* Current CPR/BLS certification.
