Are you passionate about shaping the future of Early Childhood Education? We have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Teacher at GOTAFE, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and inspiring the next generation of Early Childhood Educators.
In this role, you will train and assess students pursuing Certificate 3 and Diploma levels in Early Childhood Education, while performing essential administrative tasks related to training and assessment. Your dedication to children and families will be crucial as you share your expertise and experience to foster a nurturing and educational environment.
To succeed in this position, you must have excellent written and oral communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage a busy workload effectively. Join us at GOTAFE and make a meaningful impact on the future of Early Childhood Education.
As the successful candidate you will have:
* Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 (essential).
* A relevant Early Childhood qualification (minimum requirement - Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care).
* A minimum of 5 years of Early Childhood experience.
* Leadership and mentorship experience is highly desirable. Experience working within an RTO environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
* A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
* A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
* A current Driver's Licence (Car).
The salary for this role is L1.1-L3.5 as per the Victorian Tafe Teaching Staff Agreement 2024.
