Our client, a major EPCM, is looking for a Senior Project Planner/Scheduler to work on a 12-month contract in Perth.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Crucial support to the planning and overall Project Controls department.
2. Grow the existing team and knowledge base to support a robust Project Controls environment.
3. Support and engage with overall Engineering and Delivery team to effectively transfer project information.
4. Provide insight and support regarding schedule trends and forecasts to Management.
5. Supply timely and accurate forecasts to Worley Management and Client
6. Developing schedules for Engineering (FEED and Detailed Design).
7. Creating Resource Loaded Project Schedules and updating of schedule progress following Worley and Client governance.
8. Stakeholder Engagement and analysis of resource requirements and forecasting.
9. Reporting – Portfolio and Project, Earned Value Management, S-Curves, Resource Histograms.
10. Baseline maintenance and change management.
11. Manage the interface between the cost system and Primavera.
Main requirements:
12. Hands-on Senior Planner with extensive engineering planning experience.
13. Experienced in multi-industries (Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, etc).
14. Previous working experience in a challenging sustaining capital and major refurbishment environment.
15. Experienced and advanced user of Primavera P6.
16. Tertiary qualification relevant to Planning and Scheduling in complex programs and must have extensive Project Planning experience, with relevant years in Engineering Schedule development/management.
17. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Database, P6 import/export skills to be Advanced, change management, baseline management, schedule development, Risk Analysis, and Earned Value Management.
18. Excellent relationship-building building, stakeholder management skills and must have dedication to Customer satisfaction.
19. Enthusiastic team player and prepared to follow project and schedule governance.
20. Must have Authorization to work in Australia
