**Job Title **Logistics Manager (Full time)
**Annual Salary** $80,000 to $90,000, plus superannuation

As the Logistics Manager for our business, you will play a crucial role in meeting our mission and maintaining our reputation in the community, including to ensure the seamless flow of goods to maintain customer/client satisfaction at all times.
You will report directly to the OWNER DIRECTOR and your general day to day responsibilities and duties will include:
- determining, implementing and reviewing strategies and procedures related to purchasing, storage and distribution.
- developing and executing plans to adequately maintain required stock levels at minimum cost at all times.
- overseeing and checking inventory storage systems to ensure supply needs are met and stock levels are effectively controlled.
- tracking movements of supplies and goods with appropriate company recording systems, and proactively maintaining the re-ordering and re-stocking of goods.
- negotiating and coordinating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- ensuring purchase, storage and distribution transactions are accurately recorded.
- observing staff performance and directing their activities and ensuring provision of products and services to meet customer / client requirements.
- maintaining excellent communication with departments and customers concerning logístical requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
**Prerequisite Skills & Experience**:
- Relevant bachelor's degree qualification or higher
- At least two years relevant experience, preferably in the food service industry
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and customer service skills
- Knowledge of SAGE ONE stock control system
- Familiarity with FISH POOL online platform for seafood trading exchange
