We are seeking a skilled Community Health Professional to join our team in providing high-quality midwifery services to the local community. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering compassionate care and support to mothers and their babies, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinating and assisting with a wide range of midwifery treatments and care activities using a patient-centered approach in a general practice clinic setting.
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective community midwifery services, ensuring continuity of care for mothers and children through pregnancy, infancy, and into childhood.
* Mentoring and supporting Aboriginal Health Practitioners and trainees with ante natal and post-natal care, promoting their active participation at all times.
* Competently performing clinical midwifery duties identified as required in the preparation, execution, and monitoring of maternity care plans according to best available evidence.

For this role, we require a highly motivated and experienced Midwife who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of women and families. If you have a strong commitment to primary health care and a desire to work in a community-based setting, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and respond to clients with diverse needs. A current unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife, along with minimum 3 years' midwifery experience, preferably in a community role, are essential requirements.
