What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our growing long-term program of works within the Queensland Utilities division. You will be joining an experienced and focused delivery team on a diverse range of multidisciplined projects within the Gold Coast region.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
* Lead the Electrical Engineering aspects of the project from design through to commissioning
* Provide technical input in to design development, SID Workshops, risk assessments and constructability reviews
* Manage electrical interfaces with process, civil and mechanical disciplines
* Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety and quality standards and regulations
* Manage project schedules, financials, construction plans, methodologies and lookaheads
* Ensuring work is carried out safely, in compliance with FH Living Safely standards and relevant legislation
* Support commissioning and handover of electrical and control systems.
How you'll connect to the role:
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (RPEQ desirable)
* Extensive experience in delivering electrical works on water and wastewater or comparable infrastructure programs
* Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, Instrumentation, Controls/SCADA and process automation
* Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants and stakeholders in a collaborative environment
* Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective teams
* Strong management capabilities with the ability to lead from the front (both subcontractors and self-perform staff)
