About You
You are a strong leader, self-motivated and driven. You are an energetic and dynamic Retail Manager and have proven management experience. You are skilled in creating and leading a solid culture of customer service. You recognise the importance of developing and maintaining relationships within EF and in the wider Op Shop/retail community including charitable recycling organisations. You are confident in working autonomously and dealing with a diverse and changing work agenda.
To be successful in this role, you:
Will excel in strategic management, operation, coordination and recognise growth opportunities for EF's retail operations. You will provide leadership; and nurture the Op Shop Team's performance and participation in retail management. You will be people-focused and have particular empathy for vulnerable members of the community.
Your knowledge and experience includes:
· Leading a team of staff who manage multiple retail stores
· Annual budget setting/monitoring and ability to interpret financial reports
· Developing and maintaining relationships with charitable recycling organisations
· Commercial lease negotiation and maintaining excellent relationships with landlords/real estate agents
· Managing small projects within the business; concurrently with normal duties
· Practices for recycled/donated clothes and goods
· Strategic and Business Planning
· Understanding of working with volunteers will be highly regarded
· Monitoring and improving team outcomes; and in providing genuinely constructive feedback and coaching individual performance toward improvement
· Experience in opening new stores
