Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with a leading national cleaning services provider to recruit an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites within the Newcastle region.

About the Role As a Zone Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across multiple sites, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contract requirements. The role involves supervising cleaning teams, conducting site inspections, managing rosters, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will play a key role in maintaining service quality while supporting and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise cleaning teams across multiple sites within your allocated zone
* Coordinate staff rosters, attendance, and shift coverage
* Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks
* Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site policies
* Manage stock, equipment, and cleaning consumables
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and inspection documentation
* Liaise with clients and internal management to address any operational requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in cleaning supervision, facilities management, or operational leadership
* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
* Experience managing rosters, attendance, and workforce coordination
* Strong understanding of WHS practices and safety compliance
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach
