Work Location
Opportunities are FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing or Kununurra to our Pilbara WA mine sites.
Rosters Available
Our rosters range from 7D7N14R or 7D7N7R depending on site and department.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs on large‐scale drilling equipment
* Maintain machinery in accordance with the OEM specifications and Fortescue's procedures
* Monitor and identify the need for maintenance consumables and supplies to ensure continuous drilling operations
* Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings, promoting a safe work environment and identifying improvement opportunities
* Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to meet company standards
* Follow SAP/Fortescue work management processes
* Contribute to improvement initiatives that enhance drilling fleet performance
Qualifications and Experience
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Heavy Diesel Fitting
* Previous experience working on drilling equipment in a mining environment
* Demonstrated commitment to safety
* Strong ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
* Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tools
* Competent in Microsoft programs
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
