Club Wyndham is looking for a friendly and experienced individual to join our kitchen team ahead of a busy season.
As the Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, producing and presenting all foods according to standard recipes and directions, and for delivering a superior customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Place highest importance on food safety and hygiene in food preparation, following HACCP principles and local catering guidelines.
* Prepare, produce and present all foods in accordance with recognised Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
* Display eagerness to expand food knowledge and skills.
* Strive to minimise food waste.
* Provide an exceptional Guest experience.
* Audit kitchen stock and grocery lines daily, and order stock as required.

What You'll Bring
* Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Commercial Cookery).
* Previous Food & Beverage experience in a Hotel/Resort environment and/or Commercial Kitchen.
* A Food Safety Handlers Certificate.
* A desire to deliver an exceptional Guest experience.
* An adaptive mindset to deliver a quality product.
* Attention to detail and a passion for food quality, presentation, and consistency.
* Punctual, reliable, and presentable.
* Excellent grooming standards, professionalism, and reliability.
* The ability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
