The opportunity
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the electrical team delivering the No.6 Blast Furnace Reline Project success. You'll bring a strong commitment to safety, a passion for leadership, and the skills to keep the project on track, meeting client expectations around time, quality, and budget.
The is a fulltime permanent role and will be based out of Spring Hill in Wollongong with a requirement to attend site so TOTV (Tool of trade vehicle) will be provided.
What you'll do
* Site Leadership and set the standard for safety and performance on site
* Assist the Area Manager with daily operations and project delivery
* Monitor project progress and report on hours, scope, and schedule
* Maintain detailed records of work-in-progress and project communications
* Complete daily and weekly project reports via Downer and customer reporting programs
* Participate in weekly project planning, reviews, and audits
* Assist with monthly financial reporting and invoicing

What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualifications in a construction or related field
* Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role (Heavy Industrial experience preferred)
* C Class Drivers Licence, White Card, Confined Space & Working at Heights tickets
* Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
* Proven leadership in site safety and team leadership
* Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams)
* Experience interpreting project schedules (MS Project or Primavera)
* Quality assurance and budget management experience
