All About The Role
As an Assistant Manager at Morris, you will oversee daily operations of the hotel, including Front Office and Food & Beverage.

* The successful candidate should speak English, have relevant experience, be passionate about guest satisfaction, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and be able to lead a team, especially on weekends when the housekeeping manager is away or on leave.
* You must be flexible with working rosters and weekends.
Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing operations and maintaining a visible presence in guest contact areas.
2. Assisting with medical emergencies and Night Audit coverage.
3. Reviewing arrival lists and coordinating with departments to ensure excellent guest service.
4. Greeting VIP guests and attending to special requests.
5. Maintaining knowledge of room types, hotel facilities, and services.
6. Ensuring proper staffing levels across departments.
7. Handling major complaints and guest feedback.
8. Managing emergency situations and leading incident reports.
9. Maintaining product and service knowledge to assist and upsell to guests.
10. Conducting safety training and security checks.
11. Leading shift briefings and managing handovers.
12. Assisting with payroll and roster management.
13. Controlling the Duty Manager and Reception floats.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional customer service commitment.
* High grooming and personal presentation standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Opera).
* RSA & First Aid certificates.
* Attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility.
* Passion for hospitality and creating warm, welcoming experiences.
