About Outlook International College (OIC)
Outlook International College (OIC) is a CRICOS-registered RTO specialising in health and community services training. We're known for practical, job-ready training and strong industry partnerships that support work placement and employment outcomes.
The Opportunity
We're launching an exciting Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) pilot program in Manila, Philippines, with our onshore partners. This role is ideal for a trainer who wants to be part of a meaningful international project—helping Filipino students build real skills and gain training aligned to Australian standards.
You'll deliver training to the Manila cohort via live video sessions (not pre-recorded), with active student interaction, Q&A, and facilitation—supported on the ground by a Trainer Aide/Classroom Facilitator who will manage the classroom environment, attendance, activities, and logistics.
You'll also deliver training to OIC's domestic and international students in Adelaide in a normal classroom-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver live, interactive training sessions via video link to Manila-based students (facilitating engagement, discussions, activities, and checks for understanding).
* Coordinate closely with the Manila Trainer Aide/Classroom Facilitator to ensure smooth classroom operation, student support, and session flow.
* Plan and deliver training and assessment in line with the Certificate III in Individual Support requirements and OIC's quality standards.
* Conduct assessment and evidence collection (knowledge + practical), provide feedback, and maintain accurate student records.
* Travel to Manila for three (3) x one-week visits:
* Week 1 (course commencement): onboarding, expectations, engagement setup, and delivery alignment with local classroom support.
* Mid-course visit: conduct and/or validate practical assessments and support student progression.
* End-of-course visit: complete final practical assessments and competency sign-offs.
* Deliver classroom-based training for OIC cohorts in Adelaide (domestic + international).
* Work collaboratively with OIC operations/compliance to ensure delivery meets ASQA/CRICOS requirements and internal policies.
* Contribute to continuous improvement (trainer feedback, assessment improvements, learner support strategies).
* Be flexible with scheduling—some sessions may fall outside 9am–5pm Monday to Friday due to international delivery requirements.
What You'll Bring (Essential)
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent/updated credential).
* Current, relevant industry experience and qualifications in aged care, disability support, or community services (must be higher than the level being delivered).
* Strong capability delivering live online training (Zoom/Teams-style facilitation) with high engagement and learner interaction.
* Confidence delivering classroom-based training to diverse cohorts (including international students).
* Excellent communication, organisation, and documentation skills.
* High attention to compliance, assessment integrity, and student outcomes.
* Willingness and ability to travel internationally (3 x one-week Manila trips across the course).
