WA Major Projects – FIFO 2:1 – Quality Assurance Officer

Goodline facilitates a wide range of works, including but not limited to shutdown maintenance, welding and fabrication, civil construction, concreting, plumbing, equipment maintenance, refrigeration and electrical.
About the role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance/Control Officer to be part of our projects in Western Australia. The position has oversight of quality assurance and compliance, ensuring systems of work and output comply with company, client policies and procedures and legislative requirements are met.
You will be supported by an experienced engineering and supervision team on a day-to-day basis.
Key responsibilities
Ensure operational QMS targets are met through good planning, diligent process and responsive support in ad-hoc situations.
Manage and deliver high-quality advice and assistance to staff to ensure the workmanship delivered to clients and external stakeholders is consistent and of a high level.
Complete and review QA deliverables documentation inclusive of Quality Management Plans (Project Specific), ITPs, MDR Index, FICs and Welding Procedures.
Conduct QA audits, identify correct actions and ensure close out.
About you
This role requires demonstrable exposure at a similar level, preferably within the mining and resource sector. Additionally, you will have experience transitioning from construction through commissioning. This role requires a high level of self-discipline, self-motivation, energy and initiative.
Mandatory Qualifications
AS**** Cert 10 – Welding Supervision
CSWIP 3.1, IWI B or a site-approved equivalent
Ideally you might also have
Experience and familiarity in the relevant Australian Standards and industry guidelines for Construction and Mining operations
NACE level 2 – preferable
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
Minimum 10 years fabrication trade experience
Strong understanding of HSE best practice and compliance.
