Job Overview
As a Strategic Coordinator, you will lead the administration of the Australian Antarctic Science Program. This role ensures effective governance and probity, sound decision making, and personnel and resource management.
You will provide strategic advice on prioritizing research activities in the Australian Antarctic Program and the performance of the program.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with researchers, universities, research organizations, and government agencies.
Work effectively across the Australian Antarctic Division and associated agencies to support integrated forward planning for operationalizing research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Science Planning and Coordination team to administer the Australian Antarctic Science Program
* Provide strategic advice on prioritizing research activities in the Australian Antarctic Program
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
* Collaborate across teams and agencies to achieve program goals
