Diesel Fitter/Mechanic Job Opportunity
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Diesel Fitter/Mechanic to join our team in a challenging field-based role.
This position involves performing maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on a range of civil plant, trucks & auxiliary equipment. The successful candidate will work independently and support operations to minimize downtime.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on a range of civil plant, trucks & auxiliary equipment.
* Field based role with workshop duties when required.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and site procedures.
* Maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent).
* Solid knowledge of mobile plant, heavy vehicles, and small plant equipment.
* Current driver's license (HR or higher desirable).
* Construction White Card.
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Strong safety focus and the ability to work autonomously.
