Your new role
My client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Analyst to support a major defence program based in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defence capability while working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
* Perform cost analysis and forecasting to support project planning and decision-making.
* Monitor project performance against baseline schedules and budgets.
* Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely data.
* Support risk and change management processes.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in cost analysis and scheduling within complex projects, ideally in the defence or aerospace sector.
* Proficiency in scheduling and cost management tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* NV1 Security Clearance or ability to obtain (Australian citizenship)
