Overview
The Southern NSW Local Health District is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide essential nursing care in a rural community setting. You will work under the guidance of senior nursing staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver person‑centered nursing care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Provide supervision and support for less experienced clinicians.
* Apply evidence‑based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualized care.
* Manage and prioritise workload to achieve quality outcomes.
Qualification & Selection Criteria
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Demonstrated competencies and knowledge of providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team context.
* Effective clinical communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to interact professionally.
* Application of evidence‑based practice and critical thinking to support quality improvement.
* Leadership skills with willingness to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to deliver quality nursing care.
* Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including evidence of participation in professional development and commitment to maintaining competence.
* Ability to prioritise and organise workload with integrity and accountability.
