We now seek a full-time Motor Mechanic to join our busy team. About the role Duties include:
* Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workplace standards.
* Perform wheel alignments, suspension inspections, repairs, and component replacements including shock absorbers, coil springs, chassis components, and associated undercar systems.
* Diagnose and repair steering and braking systems, including brake pad and rotor replacement, hydraulic system repairs, and brake performance testing.
* Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
* Perform timing chain and timing belt inspections, replacements, and related engine repairs while ensuring correct engine timing and performance.
* Undertake major and minor mechanical repairs including engine, drivetrain, suspension, steering, and braking system repairs.
* Complete moderate automotive electrical work including electrical accessory installations, towbar wiring, lighting systems, and related troubleshooting and repairs.
* Test, inspect, and road-test vehicles following repairs to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with manufacturer and workshop quality standards.
* Maintain accurate job records, repair documentation, and parts usage while adhering to workplace health and safety procedures.
* Assist with general workshop duties and contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workshop environment with a strong focus on workmanship quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

* Qualified Mechanic and at least a Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive (or similar)
