Global services business on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the business on 6 month contract basis.
As one of the Payroll Officer's you will work closely with the two other team members to ensure the timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages to employees.
You will be responsible for monthly payroll (end to end) process and high volume timesheet data entry for weekly payroll. You will process T&A; (time and attendance) for fortnightly pay runs.
In addition you will enter new starters and terminations, make salary changes and deductions and sign off on new starters, terminations and master file changes entered by Payroll Officers.
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Payroll Officer including experience in a large complex, multi award/EA setting. You will ideally have previous experience and knowledge using various Payroll systems. You will have intermediate excel skills, a high level of attention to detail and enjoy working in a busy environment.
