About the Role
As Pharmacist Manager, you will take responsibility for the day‐to‐day management of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while delivering exceptional patient care. This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to a pharmacist who enjoys mentoring staff, engaging with the community, and driving both professional and commercial outcomes. Key elements of the role include leadership, governance, professional services delivery, and business performance oversight.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the pharmacy team, including pharmacists and support staff
* Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately and safely
* Oversee dispensary workflow, dose administration aids (DAAs), staged supply and opioid substitution services
* Provide professional counselling and high‐quality pharmaceutical advice
* Ensure full compliance with AHPRA, PBS, QCPP, and Northern Territory legislative requirements
* Collaborate with local health professionals to deliver integrated patient care
* Drive professional services, customer engagement, and business performance
* Manage stock control, reporting, and quality systems
* Support staff development, rostering, and performance management
Skills & Experience
* Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist – unrestricted
* Proven leadership experience in a community pharmacy setting
* Strong knowledge of PBS, professional services, and pharmacy legislation
* Excellent communication and people‐management skills
* Commitment to quality use of medicines and ongoing professional development
* Confidence using pharmacy dispensing and management systems
What We Offer
* Relocation assistance, up to $3,500
* Rental assistance, up to $12,000
* Full‐time role – $60 per hour – Potential salary $130 – $160 K
* Sponsorship to undertake the 'Graduate Certificate of Advanced Practice and Prescribing for Pharmacists' – Scope training
