Your new role
As a Payroll Officer within the Shared Services division, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing across a high‑volume and diverse workforce. Your duties will include:
Processing payroll cycles accurately and within required deadlines
Interpreting a range of EBAs, Awards and employment contracts
Responding to payroll queries and providing excellent internal customer service
Ensuring employee records are updated and maintained
Completing month‑end duties including reporting, reconciliations and audits
Supporting process improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring:
Experience in a high‑volume payroll environment
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards and EBAs
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience using large payroll systems (Chris21, Aurion, SAP, Preceda or similar)
Ability to work effectively within a team
