**How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space**:
The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.
- Monitor, conduct and coordinate operational safety activities such as incident investigations, safety inductions, Safe Work Procedures and Verification of Competency training, monthly safety hazard inspections and system audits.
- Continued risk assessment and monitoring of hazard reporting with the implementation of risk control measures as necessary.
- Maintain and update health and safety documentation, including safety newsletters, safety alerts, environment and hazard risk registers.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and drills to ensure all personnel are trained to respond effectively in critical situations.
- Conduct investigations into incidents and injuries; identifying and implementing corrective actions.
- Guide and support the WHS&E Committee in addressing workplace safety issues, driving improvements and communicating consultatively with all personnel.
- Advising on WHS&E risks during a test readiness review where requested.
**Mandatory Qual**ifications, Skills and Experience**:
- Cert IV in WHS&E or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Current full driver's license
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong problem solving and mechanical reasoning with a commitment to positively influencing a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
**Desired Qualifications,**Skills and Experience**:
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Workers Compensation, injury management and rehabilitation coordination
- ISO Certification in Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO45001:2018) and Environmental Management System (ISO14001:2015)
