Responsibilities
* Provide clerical and guest facing support in the overnight operations including end of day balancing and closing off procedures.
* Assist guests arriving and departing the hotel through the check‑in and departure process.
* Handle enquiries and engage and inspire guests with each guest experience.
* Focus on hotel security and safety, updating knowledge and certifications regularly.
* Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts by negotiating with relevant parties.
* Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, reinforcing commitment to wellness.
* Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, creating distinctive experiences to enable future bookings.
* Understand the impact of the department's operations on the overall property financial goals and manage to achieve or exceed those goals.
* Act on behalf of Senior Management/GM in the absence of the General Manager/Senior Management.
Qualifications
* Experience with OPERA property management system or similar.
* Relevant experience in a Guest Service role.
* Interest in the financial/accounting procedures of the hotel.
* Working rights in Australia mandatory (no sponsorship).
* Enthusiastic to accelerate your career.
* Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working autonomously.
* Armed with smart solutions and a can‑do attitude.
* Victorian driving licence.
