Your Role:
As the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Principals, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's executive team.
You will be responsible for managing communications, supporting leadership workflows, and delivering high-quality administrative support across a range of school operations.
Your ability to maintain confidentiality, manage competing priorities, and build strong relationships will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide high-level administrative and confidential support to the Deputy Principals, including calendar management, diary coordination, appointment scheduling, and inbox monitoring.Act as the primary point of contact for staff, students, parents, and external visitors seeking access to the Deputy Principals, managing inquiries with professionalism and discretion.Coordinate teacher absence coverage and daily supervision, including recording staff absences, allocating class and playground duties, engaging relief staff, and providing support to supply teachers upon arrival.Prepare, draft, and process correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, and minutes, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of key information.Assist with the organisation of meetings, professional development sessions, and school events such as Parent-Teacher Interviews and Awards Ceremonies, including room bookings and catering.Manage and update the school calendar, liaising with staff regarding key events and ensuring smooth scheduling and communication.Oversee administrative tasks related to professional development, including processing requests, providing updates to staff, and maintaining accurate records.Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the school.Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.Interested?
