About the role
As a Finance & Operations Officer at Teron Labs, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance, Business Services and Project Management aspects of the business. This full-time position is based in the Canberra City, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading organization. What you'll be doing
* Support to the Finance Manager with processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, reconciliations and preparing forecasting data.
* Support to the Project Manager with Stakeholder Management functions, including email support, gathering task statuses from project teams, and providing status updates to clients on a regular weekly or bi-weekly basis.
* Organizing meetings, taking meeting minutes and preparing regular reporting documentation.
* Use of appropriate project management tools to plan, monitor and report on status of projects.
* Acting as a point of liaison between the project team, the Project Manager and external stakeholders.
* Input into contract, proposals and bid management.
* Assistance in shared mailbox management.
* Providing administrative support to the finance, operations and other teams.
* Support with other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
What we're looking for
* Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Project Management or a related field.
* Experience in a similar finance, project management or related fields is desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of maintaining accurate records.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Demonstrable problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
* Due to the nature of this role, you need to be an Australian citizen and hold or have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
