About the role

Warwick Friendly Society is seeking a skilled Business Admin & Facilities Officer to join our team on a contract or part-time basis. This key role will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and facilities management support to ensure the smooth running of our 3 Stores and our Commercial properties in Warwick, Queensland. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail.

What you'll be doing

* Facilities Management of our Commercial properties by ensuring timely and efficient maintenance and response to escalated property issues
* Management of our motor vehicles to ensure they are well maintained
* Support the CEO and Corporate Services Manager by reviewing and managing our internal supplier contracts to ensure efficient, effective and cost appropriate services
* Manage a range of administrative duties including filing, data entry, and general office coordination
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and provide excellent customer service
* Support the implementation of office policies and procedures to improve efficiency
* Collaborate with the wider team to contribute to the achievement of organisational goals

What we're looking for

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or facilities-focused role, you may have worked in Real Estate, Business Management or been an Admin all-rounder
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient office operations
* Knowledge of office management best practices and procedures
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to take on ad-hoc task
