They are currently looking to recruit an ICT Customer Support Officer for a 6-month contract, with opportunity to be extended. Reporting to the ICT Customer Support Team Leader, this role will deliver frontline technical support and provide strategic insights to meet IT needs of the Council. This role will also assume the responsibility of implementing improvements to products, services, processes, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Other key responsibilities include:-
4. Drive improvements to our products, services and processes
5. Facilitate the smooth delivery of all projects, enhancements and support delivered by the team
6. Manage the installation and maintenance of hardware and software
7. Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating system and across a range of Council Approved software applications
8. Manage licensing and subscriptions
9. Ensuring all requests and incidents are dealt with, according to standards and procedures
10. Maintain procedures and documentation for desktop support using the IT service desk system.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate delivering high - level customer service paired with strong organisational and time-management skills. Previous ICT support experience, with knowledge of ITSM and Microsoft Suites will be looked upon favourably.
