Your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Associate (6+ PAE) or Special Counsel (8+ PAE) to join a well-established Dispute Resolution team in Canberra.
Working closely with senior practitioners, you will manage a diverse portfolio of complex and high-profile matters, including:
* Government related litigation and disputes
* Class actions and major civil claims
* Regulatory and enforcement matters
* Complex commercial disputes across construction, infrastructure, technology and procurement
* Merits and judicial review proceedings
* Investigations, enquiries and commissions
* Advisory work across a broad range of dispute-focused issues

What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking a lawyer who brings:
- 6+ years PAE in litigation, disputes or regulatory matters
- Experience from private practice, government or a public sector legal office
- Strong analytical ability and commercial awareness
- Confidence engaging with government stakeholders and senior clients
- A proactive, team-focused mindset and commitment to mentoring junior lawyers
- The ability to work independently on complex matters
- Eligibility to obtain AGSVA security clearance
